MALTY LIQUOR.
Malt liquor is a type of American beer. It actually is beer, not liquor. But added to it is sugar, which highers the alcohol content, with out slowing down the brewing process. it is brewed with that in mind, so the quality
is what it is. Like regular beer, Malt liquor is made from malted
barley. But added to it is sugar, corn, and other fillers. It was in
1948 when the world was introduced to the world of malty 40 ounces,
and we are still thanking god for them to this day. I will now take
you through a brief history of the locally available 40 0unces.

COLT 45: Billy Dee brew.

THE BEER: a sweet tasting beer, light in taste and hops. Great for
beginners. It is as refreshing as apple juice. Definitely a smooth kid
beer, if there ever was one.

THE BEER: a riper tasting beer. Heavier in aroma. For all you
intermediate drinkers out there. If you drink the whole thing down you
will definitely be tips. A party pleaser. the gangsters number one
choice in brew. In a blind taste test 4 out of 5 G’s chose Ol’ E

ST.IDES: The Crooked I
THE BEER: woooo, it will definitely quench your thirst. It’s a much
harsher beer, then any other. Heavy in hops. A sour flavor, and
a funky smell. But if you can endure the slight taste of metal, you will be drunk.

BALLANTINE: The pale ale

THE BEER:
The only lager out of all the malt liquors, so expect a heavy taste. It’s thick, and snells more like liquor then beer, and it will get you drunk that way. Ballantine ale, the only 40 oz that will get you saucy, not drunk. The taste isn’t so great, heavy in hops. But it will give you the best drunk, and it lasts longer. Plus it comes in a awesome green bottle.

When I look back to my teenage years, and even up until now. Some of my foundedt memories included me being wasted off this little thing called a 40. I have sampled the best of the best of these quite nasty brews, and though they are kind of gross. I am proud to swag them like any other. I have single handedly taken the 40 from “bum juice”, to
The big 4.0. so don’t be ashamed when your walking around on a hot summers day, and all you have is 2.25$, go out there to Juan’s bodega or the ! stop shop, and you grab one of those Olde E or St.Ides. and if you cant yet drink those, it’ ok, grab for the colt 45 and build your way up young grass hoppah!
